No one in the world of sports can compete with the resume of John Wooden. He had a great basketball mind, absolutely, but what made Coach Wooden so unique was his heart and his mindset. He not only prepared his players to do well on the court but he prepared them to be great men and do well in life. His pyramid of success is an example of his heart for others as well as the game of basketball. This week Coach Wooden was honored as the greatest coach ever and that’s certainly a fitting name.
